Karto Development
Karto 2.0.1 released
Our first patch for the 2.0 SDK release. We have fixed couple minor XML issues in the parsing and we have added the C# wrappers that was missing from the original release. There is no API changes between 2.0 and 2.0.1, it's only bug fixes and the C# wrappers.
Karto Open Libraries 2.0 (LGPL) now available!
Mapping enables a robot to use sensor input to create a virtual model of its environment. Karto Robotics' mapping technology is able to create precise maps despite the inherently noisy nature of sensor data and is able to do so in real-time as the robot maneuvers in an unknown environment. The mapper in Karto OL 2.0 comes with the following features:
- Single threaded mapper
- Automatic loop closure

ICRA 2010
Karto will be at ICRA 2010 in Anchorage, AK in May 2010. We will be on booth #13, come and check out new Segway RMP-50 doing live mapping. We will also showcase new features of Karto 2.0.
IREX 2009
Karto will be at IREX 2009 in Tokyo in November 2009. In addition of showing the latest Karto software, SRI will be making two presentations:
